CEAG Crouse-Hinds enhanced BS4343 (IEC309) plugs, sockets and couplers are designed specifically for hazardous area environments. The Enhanced ranges offer mechanical advantages over the popular and widely used Standard versions.

CEAG Enhanced Plug
From CEAG Crouse-Hinds, this three pole Enhanced Plug is designed specifically for hazardous area environments, and has an ingress protection of IP66. This cable mounted Enhanced Plug also features a patented plug and turn system, for a fast and assured mating connection.
This CEAG is ATEX approved, and allows fast and convenient power connection in dusty and damp environments, or outdoor use.
The Enhanced Plug offers mechanical advantages over the Standard range, and cannot mate with Standard sockets.

Product Application Information
CEAG Crouse-Hinds series of Enhanced Plugs are suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications, and also Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust applications.
How do I mount this plug?
The plug mounts directly to cables and comes with strain relief around the connector to limit fraying and provide extra durability.
